Used Enclosed Vapour Degreasing

Enclosed steam degreasing is a special method of steam degreasing that takes place in a closed chamber. The parts to be cleaned are placed in the chamber, which is then sealed airtight. Steam is then introduced into the chamber to heat the parts and dissolve the grease, oil and dirt they contain. The cleaning agent in the steam, usually perchloroethylene or trichloroethylene, evaporates, taking the loosened dirt with it. Trapped steam degreasing is particularly effective for cleaning smaller parts that require high precision, such as watches, medical instruments or electronic components. It is also a more environmentally friendly method than other degreasing methods, as the cleaning agent remains in a closed system, resulting in less release into the environment. However, it is important to note that the use of perchloroethylene or trichloroethylene can be harmful to health and therefore proper safety precautions must be taken to ensure safe handling and disposal of the cleaning agent.
